Among the precious benefits of Taoist training is the practical way it helps reduce pain and improve health and vitality. Taoist Tai Chi® arts can help people with chronic, serious or mild pain, whether physical, mental or spiritual.

The gentle movements create elasticity and open blockages throughout the whole physiology including the musculoskeletal and circulatory systems as well connective tissue and organs. Taoist Tai Chi® practice is also a form of meditation that has a profoundly calming effect on the nervous system and the brain.

Taoist Tai Chi® arts help people with many chronic conditions such as arthritis and Parkinson’s disease. They also help with recovery from accident, injury or surgery, joint, spine and mobility problems, mental challenges and the stresses of daily life.

Pain Relief is integrated into all Taoist Tai Chi® arts sessions and retreats. You will experience a profound practice, make friends and hear remarkable stories of health improvement. We offer sessions and retreats at locations and centres across Canada, which are open to everyone. For those with decreased mobility, movements can be adapted as needed.
