Buddhist and Taoist temples around the world hold All Souls Festival during the first half of the 7th lunar month when the gate of the realm of the dead is opened and the souls of the deceased can be blessed and receive offerings.

FLK All Souls chanting ceremonies will take place online this year, otherwise all aspects of the All Souls Festival will be held as usual, but without any physical gathering of people.
