The Tiger's Mouth Blog: Visit to the International Centre
Thirty-five participants from Barrie, Orillia, Gravenhurst and Bracebridge had a wonderful, warm sunny day out on Wednesday, June 19 at the International Centre near Orangeville.
We enjoyed an enlightening Taoist Tai Chi® arts class, that greatly helped us to understand and practice all the fundamental principles of the Don-yu and Tor-yu in the single whip.
After a delicious and nourishing Chinese lunch, we were lead on a tour of the Three Religions Temple and the grounds to learn more about the Centre. The tour ended at the linden memorial trees, chosen for Jan Clarke and Dieter Leidel.
We would like to thank all the staff and volunteers at the Centre who made our day memorable. We look forward to coming back soon!
