Blogue de la Bouche du tigre: Connecting to the ground force with Taoist Tai Chi® arts
I am Métis and a descendent of Michel First Nation. I live in Northern Alberta.
I had to do my self-practice indoors, at my workplace and my home until the snow drifts finally melted.
Although one of the Directors encouraged us to try Taoist Tai Chi® practice on snow, the snow drifts were up to my thighs and wouldn’t hold my weight without snowshoes. So I practiced patience, waiting for the Spring melt.
In this time of self-isolation, it is with a sincere heart, in the quiet and stillness, that I have tried to cultivate harmony with all: the two legged, four legged, winged ones, swimmers, crawlers, and grandmother moon, as well as the plant and rock nations.
This month I was thrilled to do a few sets outside in nature. Breathing the warm fresh air, I focused on connecting to Mother Earth and the ground force.
